Obituary for Carolyn McKenna (St-Onge)

THE CASEY FAMILY IS HONORED TO BE CARING FOR AND ASSISTING THE FAMILY OF CAROLYN MCKENNA

“Devoted to her family”

OAKVILLE- It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved, wife, mother, daughter, sister and grandmother, Carolyn (St-Onge) McKenna. Carolyn left us very unexpectedly on Friday, October 18, 2019 at home. She was the devoted wife of Steven McKenna,

Carolyn was born on December 20, 1962 in Waterbury the daughter of Oneil St-Onge and the late Theresa (Pinette) St-Onge, just four weeks ago. She was educated in local schools and was a lifelong resident of Oakville. Carolyn was employed for many years as a Lunch Aide for the Town of Watertown, Dept of Education and also was a longtime aide for First Student Bus Co. Carolyn was blessed with her four grandchildren who were the pride and joy of her life. She loved to bake and enjoyed crafts of all kinds. Most of all her life revolved around her family, her parents, her devoted husband who adored her and her entire family. She was always so kind-hearted and willing to help anyone. Carolyn was a parishioner of the First Congregational Church of Watertown. She will be greatly missed by all who were blessed to know and love her.

Left to cherish her memory and honor her legacy, besides her husband of 20 years, are her children; Steven Gotlibowski and his wife, Tonya of Waterbury and her daughter, Christina Gotlibowski of Bridgeport. She also leaves her stepson, Connor McKenna and his fiancé, Jenn of TX and her four beloved grandchildren; Ilyana, Izaiyah, Manuel and Katherine and her brother Rick St-John and his wife, Gail, her sister, Betty Ann Nearing and her husband, Robert and her brother, Tom St-Onge all of Watertown. Carolyn also leaves two beloved godchildren; Renee Nearing and Jessica Balcom.
