OAKVILLE- Dean A. Boll, 58, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, July 27, 2019 at Waterbury Hospital. He was the devoted companion to Jayne Schindelholz for 32 years.
Dean was born on December 15th, 1960 to the late Malcolm Boll Sr. and Patricia Ismail. In Dean’s youth, he was very athletic and played football and baseball. His love for sports never dwindled throughout his adult life. He was an avid New York Yankees and New York Giants fan. Motorcycles were Dean’s true passion. He raced drag bikes and owned many Harley Davidson and Suzuki motorcycles throughout his lifetime. He will live on through the memories shared between his family, as well as his friends at the Oakville VFW and American Legion. Dean will be greatly missed by all who were blessed to know and love him.
Dean is predeceased by his brother, Malcolm Boll Jr. and nephew Justin Ashmore.
Left to remember, cherish and honor Dean’s love and memories are his daughter, Deana Boll of Thomaston; his sons, Jimi Boll of NH, and Duane Layden of Thomaston; his brothers, Todd Boll and his companion, Susan DiMaria of Oakville, and Glen Boll of NC; Joni and David Ashmore of Waterbury; as well as several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank the staff at Harold Leever Regional Cancer Center for their care and kindness to Dean.
