Affectionately known as “Puppa Kodak”

OAKVILLE- John Baptiste LeVasseur III age 71 of Oakville, passed away peacefully on Tuesday August 25th 2020 at home surrounded by the love and comfort of his family after a strong and courageous battle of pancreatic cancer. He was the husband of Janet (Benton) LeVesseur.

He was a lifelong member of the Oakville V.F.W. #7330 and enjoyed fishing and playing cribbage. John had an affinity for photography and took so many pictures that he wore the button off his camera and was affectionately nicknamed Puppa Kodak by his grandkids, who were the love of his life and were in constant focus of his view finder. John was a loyal customer at the Red White and Blue shop and was always looking for great deal. John was a true patriot and was always happiest while spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He was always willing to help another family or friend in need at any given time. He will be greatly missed by all who were blessed to know and love him.
